Beyond the Flat-bed Copier/Scanner
We’ve all used our flatbed scanners and copiers. But, have you ever wondered if you can scan entire books and make them searchable? Did you know there are battery powered scanners?
In this class, we will explore portable battery powered scanners (the wand, sheet-fed, and Flip Pal mini flatbed), along with negative and slide scanners, large format negative scanners, overhead book scanners and digitizing our old VHS tapes.
We’ll discuss the ability to stitch multiple scans into one, correcting color in a scan from an old negative or slide, and how to use the OCR capabilities.
